I am on TV and Everything is Looking Car-Free

Today, this 28th of August, we set out on another adventure of finding our supporters in their corners of Prospect Park. As our march to Bloomberg approaches, and the threat of rallying all by ourselves looms over us, it is even more essential for us to bring people to our event. Today was an ordinary day, another day of handing out postcards and pushing flyers about Brooklyn Brings It to Bloomberg on every park-goer we passed (very important). It was just Kelena and I today, with a goal of 80 postcards each. Today, I had to the Long Meadow, my favorite area, tons of people.

Cold Drinks and Back on Camera

Saturday was really fun. We all gathered up and walked to Grand Army Plaza for a big day. This time while we were walking up the long hill of the Loop Drive, I observed lots of activities were happening at the park. As we were approaching our usual spot, I saw many people having BBQs with their families. Another interesting thing I noticed was a walkathon that was hosted for Diabetes research. But something very interesting I saw was many people gathered for one big circle of dancing.

The Prospect Park Youth Advocates Team Up with StreetFilms

On July 21, the Prospect Park Youth Advocates, we four the youngest employees at Transportation Alternatives, set out on another adventure of bringing support for a car-free park. Today was as any regular T.A. day (at least for us lucky employees who get to work in Prospect Park), with the exception of a surprise special guest we were to meet at 5pm. A mystery, but until then there was work to be done.
